A new restorative programme blending therapeutic treatments, guided rituals and sleep-supporting environments across the Harbour Hotels collection

Launching this spring, Harbour Hotels has unveiled the Harbour Sleep Retreat, a calming new wellness experience available across its hotel collection. Drawing on emerging sleep research and a series of guided relaxation rituals, the programme is designed to help guests unwind and prepare for a more restorative night’s sleep.
Created in response to rising levels of stress and disrupted rest, the experience combines gentle therapeutic treatments, aromatherapy and structured wind-down practices. Together, these elements offer a purposeful reset for guests looking to ease mental overload, settle the nervous system and re-establish healthier evening rhythms.
Central to the retreat is the TempleSpa Drift Away Massage, a rhythmic massage designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the body’s natural ‘rest and restore’ response. Using a blend of Mediterranean essential oils including frankincense, lavender and patchouli, the treatment works from top to toe to soothe the nervous system and encourage a slower, calmer state. Offered as a 60- or 90-minute experience, the Drift Away Ritual provides a restorative foundation for the rest of the sleep ritual.
Following the treatment, guests are encouraged to transition into a calmer pre-sleep state with a warm herbal infusion formulated to promote relaxation and slow the evening wind-down process.
Each guest receives a Coastal Sleep Kit, created in partnership with TempleSpa and featuring products from the award-winning Do Not Disturb collection. The kit includes calming bath and body products, a soothing Repose night cream, a relaxing infusion oil and a curated bedtime ritual guide, designed to structure the final hour before sleep using simple, evidence-informed cues known to support circadian rhythm and reduce overstimulation. A QR-linked meditation, accessible directly from the room, offers a guided breathing sequence intended to lower the heart rate and quieten the mind.
Guests are also invited to engage in simple, nature-led practices such as shoreline walks, mindful moments overlooking the sea and sunset breathing exercises — small interventions that prime the body for restorative sleep.
Whether as a solo escape, midweek recharge or a gentle introduction to structured sleep practices, the retreat provides a practical, soothing and science-informed approach to better rest.
